RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Communicate with truck drivers and customers via phone or email for dispatching

• Track drivers’ locations and hours to ensure on-time freight appointments
   
• Dispatch drivers on contracted loads, maximizing revenue-generating miles
   
• Maintain relationships with customers, report issues promptly, and stay current on freight trends
   
• Bilingual skills are a plus but not required
   
• Required to cover phones on the weekend once a month
   

REQUIREMENTS:

• Completed Freight Dispatcher School with certification required
   
• Minimum 3 years of transportation experience preferred
   
• Strong communication, negotiation, and time management skills
   
• Ability to work under pressure and bring in new accounts
   

HOURS & COMPENSATION:

• Full-time position, Monday-Friday 7:00 am - 3:30 pm
   
• Base salary plus commission
   
• Required to cover phones on the weekend once a month
